The Product Background
Seedhodler is an open-source web application designed for securing user’s crypto. This application aima to be an easy-to-use tool that creates seeds / recovery phrases / mnemonics to protect crypto wallets from frauds and hacker attacks.
The Task
This project was strongly inspired by the many amazing open-source products from the crypto community. Some honorable mentions include the work done by Satoshi labs, Bitcoinjs and Ian Coleman.
The main tasks that alphaX engineers faced were to put together all the best cryptography practices established by the client as well as to create a user-friendly interface.
The Solution we created
In collaboration with a famous cryptographer, we have implemented a serverless SPA that can be used on a computer without an internet connection. We decided to focus on the React + TypeScript combination so that the architecture of the created tool would eventually be understandable for a person who wants to check the source code.
